MY BACKGROUND
As a journalism student, I have covered a variety of topics, such as entertainment news, local events, environmental news, and sports. Throughout my journalism career, I have learned that sports journalism is my passion and within the realm of sports journalism is where most of my work is based.

My time at OU Daily has strengthened my skills as a journalist and is where I have learned to be a sports journalist while reporting non-biased factual information to a broader audience on one of the biggest sports programs in the country.
​
Along with print journalism, I also have experience in sports radio, reporting stories, and hosting for KGOU. My time at KGOU has taught me a lot about being a journalist and has allowed me to reach a broader audience by reporting stories and informing listeners about what is going on around the state.
